Guidance for School Meetings

PCES can consult with you prior to any school meetings and provide the guidance needed to address important concerns, educational goals, and plans for your child.

We prepare you for conferences with your child’s teacher by helping you identify what you should be asking, what you should be listening for, and what important information you should bring with you.

We consult with you prior to a meeting, or can accompany you to any type of school meeting, including Educational Management Team (EMT), Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and Individualized Education Program (IEP).

PCES believes that it is extremely important that you understand the school system’s procedures and your child’s and family’s rights as mandated by state and federal law.
