Facilitator Training

At times a child may need more intensive support to facilitate and enhance growth, social participation, and positive learning experiences in the classroom.

A facilitator works with and supports your child in the classroom to build important social interaction and learning skills. The facilitator augments what the teacher is doing for the other students using an individualized approach and proven methods that meet your child’s needs and learning style.

PCES trains facilitators, usually in one to three mentoring sessions in your child’s classroom, to use appropriate techniques for optimal learning and socialization.
